New Rehearsal Stills

Here are stills from rehearsals last week.

I didn't have the benefit of my director of photography because he's still in India so I shot these myself. Alan's better at this kind of thing. But these shots give you a chance to see the cast in action.

Production Designer

We have a Production Designer! I saw many experienced, motivated, and talented people who were interested in the position so there were a lot of really good people to choose from. I decided on Nadya Gurevich, who has worked with HD and also in theater. She has great instincts and ideas for this project and I look very forward to working with her.

Back in Rehearsal

We had a full cast reading of the latest version of the script yesterday. It was great to have everyone together; Alan the DP and Lacee the Costumer were also there. After the reading I screened some of our scouting footage for the cast. We're starting back up with rehearsals this week, focusing on blocking out each scene to fit into the location.

Alan is off to India tonight to shoot a feature in the jungle. He'll be gone for 2 months and completely out of contact since most of the locations he's visiting don't have electricity, let alone internet access. Good luck Alan! Let's hope those malaria pills work!
